WAYFARER — Arcavios: School’s Out Forever — Episode 1: Guided Tour 0.3 Release Notes — May 23, 2021
Hello Wayfarers! It’s been a bit since our last release, as we spent the week(has it only been a week since the livestream??) retooling the entire Episode 1 campaign after we made the switch to individual scene decks. This release has been lovingly worked on — we made sure to make the text as best as we could, as well as get some fantastic arts to fit our designs and intent for the cards present. From all of us on the The Wayfarer Guild team, we want to thank everyone for their support thus far!
With that, let’s get to the notes!
ARCAVIOS: SCHOOL’S OUT FOREVER — EPISODE 1: GUIDED TOUR
New
• Removed all the previous cards for the Episode, as they did not fit the new 0.2 rules design of individual scene decks, plus tweaks to the game in general. The only cards that have remained unchanged are Tone, Oriq’s Sword, Atwo, Oriq’s Shield, and Threen, Oriq’s Armor, as well as the eight Item cards.
• Added entirely new cards to replace the cards in each individual Scene deck! This caused us to add approximately 8 more cards to the roster, as well as reduce the token size by 1.
• Cards Added: (in WUBRG order) Oriq Adjutant, Sunflare Spellbomb, Aethercast Spellbomb, Necromajesty Spellbomb, Beacon Defense System, Fearflame Elemental, Protectorite Spellbomb, Rising Cinders, Smokeblind Confusion, Volatile Beaconfire, Vortencia, Emergent Furor, Cervin’s Embrace, Liferage Spellbomb, Aspersion Conversion, Negative Reinforcements, Ravenous Mothcloud, Reforging Purge, Scapegoat the Mighty, Anima Spellbomb, Lorebore, Beacon, Velomachus’ Relic Hoard
• Updated the rules with some new wordings; clarified some things regarding scenes, as well as certain tweaks to the game (Solo scriveners now draw 2 cards instead of 1). We would like feedback on the solo scrivener hand size change.
